The Tora model karate uniform has been designed to support you throughout your karate journey by prioritizing comfort and durability.
 A traditional Japanese cut uniform with drawstring pants tailored to provide a clean-cut fit.
 All our medium and heavyweight uniforms in the Tora range are made from premium brushed cotton. Why? We believe that any martial arts uniform first and foremost should prioritize comfort.
 As uniforms are on average worn for around 100+ hours a year – comfort for us is a priority. A comfortable uniform means you can get the most from your martial arts training year in year out!
 This is an ideal beginner’s karate uniform that comes with a white belt to help you on your journey.

Very surprised

I ordered the 8oz polycotton gi as I wanted a spare gi that wouldn't cost me too much. When I opened it and tried it on, I was hugely surprised with the fit and comfort. Being about 5"11 but slim build, I've often found it difficult to get a gi that fits comfortably. I ordered the 175cm and it fits me perfectly! Safe to say that I won't just be using this as a spare - I'll be getting plenty of use out of it. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased a GI suit 8oz cotton/polyester product from Ikkensports. The quality of the material and craftsmanship that has gone into making the product, represents good value for money. The clothing feels very durable to the touch and I am confident that I will get good use out of it. The customer service that I experienced via email exchanges has been good.

A happy ending

To make a very long story short, shipping to Spain went very wrong. However, Ikken took responsibility for the situation and made it better by rapidly sending a replacement, along with some nice soap to compensate.
The Gi: I am 174cm tall and ordered size 170 following Ikken's Recommendation. The 10oz, 100% cotton model. It's a wide roomy fit. I have a thin build and feel as if the Gi would fit someone who wheighd 50% more than I. But it fits me fine as well. The cotton canvas feels good. Rigid and durable. As if it is going to withstand many hours of training and many a wash. A good suite for regular practitioners.
